General Construction Estimator / Sales Representative

Position Overview:

This full time position combines technical estimating expertise with business development responsibilities. The ideal candidate will prepare detailed cost estimates for residential and commercial construction projects while actively generating and closing new business opportunities. This role plays a critical part in driving revenue growth and ensuring project profitability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates based on plans, specifications, and site evaluations
  • Analyze labor, materials, timelines, and overall project scope
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through networking and outreach
  • Present proposals, review pricing, and negotiate contracts
  • Work closely with project managers to support smooth execution after contract award

Qualifications:

  • Minimum five years of experience in construction estimating and sales
  • Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, and market pricing
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
  • Proficiency in estimating software and Microsoft Office applications
  • Self motivated, goal oriented, and detail focused
